Higher Being Collective
Empowering women to thrive in Ontario’s legal canna industry.
The Collective is a mentorship and education program designed for women from underserved communities and/or have a disability. Through one-on-one mentorship, skills training, business tools, and peer support, we’re building pathways for success in Canada’s legal green industry . Starting with our pilot program, Grow With Us.
The Grow With Us pilot program Full for 2025 the collective is still open and offers much of the same benefits. Please feel free to apply to be a mentor or mentee and utilize our resources and benefits
Mentorship & Support
Mentees gain one-on-one guidance from experienced leaders, join group mentorship circles, and connect with a supportive peer network. Mentors are recognized with honorariums, ensuring quality and commitment throughout the program.
Certification
Participants earn their CannSell Expert certification, attend skills seminars, and join workshops led by industry experts. A library of curated resources ensures ongoing learning and growth beyond the program.
Business & Tools
Each mentee receives one year of OWNR incorporation support, plus Microsoft 365 and Canva Pro licenses. A GoDaddy domain and business templates provide the digital foundation to launch and scale confidently.
Community
The program fosters connection through monthly networking events and co-op placements with partners. Mentees showcase their progress at a final spotlight event and continue as part of the Higher Being Collective community.

As a mentor, you’ll guide, support, and uplift women who are building their paths in business and leadership. You’ll gain fresh perspectives, grow alongside your mentees, and contribute to a more inclusive, confident, and empowered community of women across Ontario. Together, we grow stronger.

Cannabiz OG. Abi was the founder and owner of the legendary Hotbox Cafe. Served as Sr Manager at the OCS, Executive director of NORML, and is the woman behind Jane Dope.
Gwen Bang
Finance Co-ordinator

Gwen Bang is a dedicated financial administrator with a passion for community impact and equity-focused initiatives. With experience in budget coordination and grassroots project support, she brings precision and heart to every detail she manages.
Reena Rampersad

Reena has been advocating for social justice causes most of her life with much of her work focused on the inequities and racism in the Herb industry.
